I bought my AEM intake for one main reason: it was suppose to come with an AEM dry filter (no oiling required). It came with A K&N FILTER!!?? I got to looking at some pictures more closely and a couple of the K&N CAI's look very similiar to the AEM's, so I'm guessing now that K&N owns AEM now. Overall, I am happy due to the overall performance gain in my vehicle and the appearance of the CAI under the hood, but I am not happy that I have an air filter that will require oiling.

I just installed an AEM on my 2004 GMC Yukon with a 5.3 engine. The sound was incredible when accelerating! You can instantly feel the loss of restriction, couldn't be happier. The installation was achieved in about 30 minutes, and the tight fit and finish really cleaned up the engine compartment. I added a Magnaflow muffler, just the muffler, and I'm seeing about 20-30 miles more out of a tank. Not bad... I would really recommend this, an easy add on part that does exactly what you would expect it to do.
