Install was a breeze and I love the sound. You really hear your car scream when you put the pedal to the floor. Fits perfect in my BMW 325CI. Enjoy. I did.

I was very impressed with the overall increase in performance gained just by installing the AFE Cold Air Intake on my ’06 325i E90/N52. The only issues was the installation, the housing and the intake tube did not go on as easily or fit as it inferred in the instructions. Would I do it again…you bet!

which should I get?

Which do you think is better performance and quality K&N or Volant? Will there will be an increase in mileage, if I don’t change my driving habits, of course.

Hello. The K&N always seems to be the better quality product and when it comes to gains they are usually greater with K&N. Thank you for your question.

cold air intakes

what is the mpg increase with this and which model gives that louder noise

Staff Answer

The MPG increase will be 1-3 depending on your driving style. All cold air intake kits that eliminate the factory silencing baffles will product more noise.
