AEM for Veloster Turbo

I looked at several different intakes for my Veloster Turbo. I finally settled on AEM after reviewing price to performance gains, as well as aesthetics for my car color. I wanted a CAI rather than an SRI. The instructions were easy to follow. All of the parts were clearly identified in the packaging. I was able to install it in about an hour, including the time it took to remove the stock intake components and bumper and button it all back up. There is now a loud wooosshhh!! when I accelerate.

Looks great and gives the V a nicer sound when accelerating. Nothing dramatic in terms of gains but it does feel nice. I took the bumper off which made it easier during installation, although I don't think it's absolutely necessary. Did this all by myself and I'm 5'7 about 150lbs. The hardest part was getting the OEM air filter box screw that's on the underside of the car near the wheel.
Great Intake - Best Price Hands Down!

Ordered this Injen SRI for my '13 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 1.6L....AutoAnything price was the best out of 10 sites I looked into. $30 cheaper the the closest competitor at the time. Shipping was quick and the Injen packaging protected all the innards well. Installation was a breeze and well documented. Intake GROWLS and pulls allot of air. I noticed a immediate impact in the throttle. The lag in acceleration is all but gone now and my DIY BOV sounds like a beast. Great Product.
