very pleased with the air intake system. Installation took less than an hour with no surprises. The appearance looks factory and not so much like an add-on. Response seems quicker, certainly breathes easier.

great product, decent fit(limits access to headlight bulbs) beautiful sound, a bit expensive for how little there is to it.

I've never installed an intake system, will this be extremely difficult?

Hello. It’s super easy. Basically, you unbolt the old system and re-bolt the new one in. The average install time is under 45 minutes. They also include really detailed instructions. Thank you for your question.

Programmer Needed with Volant CAI?

I have purchased a Volant CAI for my 2004 Ford F-150; I have read reviews and am concerned about this intake needing a programmer to eliminate any engine codes (rich air) becoming a problem. Can you shed any light on this? Thanks.

Hello. CAIs do not require the use of a programmer; however, an engine trouble code could pop up under different circumstances depending on other modifications you’ve made to the truck. If you order for the correct year/make/model, you will not see a problem. For information that is more definitive, you can contact Volant via their website. Thank you.
