Intake Manifolds Reviews

At first I thought it was going to be a big task to do the change over, but by following the instructions and using common sence it turned out to go very smooth.
I replaced the two boots on the intake manifold with new as they are the hardest to get to and reused the others as I can replace them if I need to in the future.
They seem to work very well and I have had three diesel mech. comment on what a good idea they are.

As with every item I have bought from Banks, this one fit perfectly. No modifications necessary, great instructions. I now have the high ram, super scoop and intake box and have noticed a 2-3 mpg improvement and improved throttle response. Not a lot of power increase but spool up is quicker and should allow future mods to work better. Turbo noise is more noticable but not annoying. Auto Anything had the best price around and delivery was very quick.

I love the quality of the manifold. The install was alright, although there are a few things they don't tell you. Like, i had to bend the outlet on my stock fuel regulator to a 45 degree angle to clear the manifold. And the bolt pattern on the back of the block is mad to accommodate 2 styles of idle control valves. Whichever one you don't use, needs to be plugged and the manifold does not include one(i used a bolt). If you are experienced enough to install the manifold, then all the little tweaks needed shouldn't
be an issue.

The install was easy and took about a half hour to install. Turbo spools quicker and makes about 1.5 psi more boost, no notice in fuel economy. My only complaint is that the ziplock bag the hardware came in was torn and two washers were missing, there we also no decals included as shown in the part images. Overall pleased
with the product.
