Very Nice!

Price was comparable to the other CAI of this type for this vehicle. Install was easy- the directions gave most of the required info, but the rest was easy to figure out. Look and sounds great!

A bit disappointed

Reviewed By Dzuy N (Walkersville, MD) Reviewed for a 2006 Jeep Commander —11/16/2008 12:28 PM

I purchased this AEM to complete the intake/exhaust upgrade as recommended by various sources. I pair this AEM intake witht the Volant exhaust and here are the results. 1. The exhaust note now is less aggressive than when the Volant was with the factory air box. 2. MPG was not improved at all. I drive mostly highway at 70 - 75 crusing speed and average 18 - 19 MPG with factory stuffs and same now with the upgrades. My personal opinion is that if you want the rumble, just upgrade the exhaust and done with that. For a 6000 lbs beast, the extra 10 - 20 HP increased (if there was ever any) did not do much in term of improving performance. If you want to upgrade your Titan, spend the money on upgrading the sway bars (front and rear) and tires. I did. The truck rode a lot better than stock.
