Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a Million Mile Limited Warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

So installation was a little harder than I expected. 3.5 hours for me. Everything fit right but all the connections were on the hairy edge of being maxed out. No wiggle room for anything. Not really happy with the secondary air pump re-location. But it works. Sounds great, like an Indy car when you put the boot to it. I noticed the power difference at the pedal right away, haven't had it long enough to see a MPG difference yet. But I'm sure it will help.

This is my 2nd K & N Intake I have bought. First one was for my '02 Dakota. It was just as easy installing this one as my first one. Took me about an hour to install, with some unplanned disruptions from the family. If your handy with tools, you can easily install it. Just follow the directions. I'm seeing about 1 mpg gain in my gas mileage and sounds great too.

When it came time to choose a cold air intake , i went with the industry's best. I chose the 63 over the 77 for the simple fact that the 63 offered just a tad more hp. Before the 63 I was averaging 10.4 mpg thanks to the b.q.e. After installing the 63 I'm getting 14 mpg, engine sounds throatier and throttle response is quicker. I'm extremely happy.

Love the sound and extra power...did have to use the included directions and the online videos to complete the install, but still gave installation 5 stars because of the available video and parts list to help with the install. Not bad if you use all the resources available. Love the product...recommend it. Also used the online chat to order, very helpful.

Like the looks, could do without the noise. Gas mileage? Jury still out. It seems better on the highway, not so much in town. Install was easy. The computer has had to do some adjusting to it, but the Silver Dado already got good gas mileage, it was just a bit flat on take off. Take off is better.

The K&N 63 looks great, seems to be made well so far and got it for a great price. Installation was pretty simple as long as you can follow directions, although you do have to drill 2 holes into the bottom of the housing to install, would recommend a step drill bit. Now for the best part, the sound, this thing makes my sierra sound like NASCAR is rolling through town when you get on it. Forget dual exhaust and a flowmaster 40, this was all I needed, would highly recommend.
