This air intake kit goes on very easily and looks great. It gives a lower more sporty sound to my car. Glad I got it.

Fairly easy for a non-mechanic type like me to install - took a bit over an hour start to finish. Haven't driven truck much yet but do note increased responsiveness of diesel engine at start from 0 mph. No appreciable change in noise level. Can't yet comment on fuel economy increase if any. Direction somewhat misleading and had to adapt several steps due to positioning of brackets on heat shield and on truck fender. Overall a nice project for a relatively unsophisticated enthusiast - seemed a bit pricey however for what the kit actually contained - one auto parts counter person even suggested I should buy only the filter, and using readily available parts in their store, fabricate remainder of system at a fraction of the kit cost. Filter cost itself at Pep Boys was comparable or cheaper than your price...... even after shipping promotion and "discount" - a bit taken back by that

I can feel hot air coming from the vents of my Carbon Creation hood yet the carbon fiber feels like ambient air temp, so I would say it seems to be helping! It did want to come off in some areas so adhesive could maybe be better but instructions say to use superglue for any edges if needed.
