You get instant power and our mpgs went through the roof. And, the kicker is we probably drove WORSE than before just to see what it could do. The best mileage I have seen out of the charger in towm was around 16.5. Yesterday I was averaging 18.9 running premium. Keep in mind that is at 5200 feet, as we live in Wyoming. To add to the performance gains you will notice a new growl coming out of the engine compartment as well as a nice air sucking hiss on occasion when you hammer down on the throttle...Fact is, I will install an AEM Brute force intake on EVERY new vehicle I buy.

I could not believe how easy it was to install! I'm not a mechanic at all but wanted the ownership that I did the install. Truly No big deal. Oh my 2003 Eclipse purrs like a kitten at idle and roars like a loin at 4-5k rpms. I felt the extra power right from the get go! Being an Engineer, I know I'll see better milage too. As you can tell, I'm extreamly pleased with the product choice. I also want to mention that I chose AA.com because they had the best price plus the free shipping! I was able to track the order too.

The install was easy except the bolt/spacer thing for the tube mount didn't work correctly, I pulled the bolts out of the spacer then drilled through the middle replacing the 2 separate bolts with one 8 grade bolt to make it work. I hour install including finding a bolt that fit and fixing the spacer, then adjusting it by adding and removing washers to get the proper fit in the air dam. When i started it i couldn't believe how much air it was suckin in, it is definately noticeable in terms of sound and performance. Overall very happy great product, unbelieveable price and you can get relacement parts for them at your local kragen.

I am really enjoying my new Banks Ram-Air, especially now that I have installed the Banks Monster Exhaust, as well. It's not loud at all, unless you stomp the skinny pedal to the floor. The intake box is sealed to keep the heat out, but has a huge pipe that drops down between the front fender liner and the bumper to suck air straight from the street. The filter is massive and of a pleated cotton gauze high surface area design with a light coating of oil to help grab the finer dust particles. The intake tube is smooth and eliminates the stock silencers, which does make the intake louder than stock. However, it's not obnoxious and is only noticeable if the throttle is more than half open.I highly recommend this product.

The major difference is the custom enclosed airbox with the clear cover which beats K&N's cheesy metal wall with rubber lining. The construction is superb and the entire unit looked like OEM equipment that was built for my vehicle. The color instructions were outstanding and made installation a cinch. Throttle response was felt immediately right off the line and the deep roar can be heard at higher RPMs. Haven't gauged mmileage improvement but the idea of the engine breathing more efficiently is well worth the money. I'm very satisfied with this product and highly recommend S&B for all vehicles.
