This AFE intake is a great buy and I would recommend it to someone looking to BEGIN modifying their car. The intake dresses up the engine nicely, has a nice sound to it and is very easy to install. Performance wise, I think my car is a little slower in lower RPMs (1000-3500rpm) but faster in the 3500-6000 rpm range. I would recommend buying a software upgrade to compliment this intake

Toyota bumper to bumper warranty .

Toyota service dept. said by installing after-market parts, like magna flow exhaust with cold air intake system, it could void my warranty, if I should develop an engine problem on my 2012 Tundra 5.7 & they say those parts could have played apart in my engine trouble!

Hey Jim, thanks to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act: US Code – Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312, your vehicle’s factory warranty is protected by law when you add aftermarket parts. You can check it out in full by clicking in the box to the right of the product features, entitled "ADD PERFORMANCE AND POWER WITH CONFIDENCE." Or, link to it directly right here: Check it out here: Magnuson Moss Warranty Act.

Under the hood Intake Certification Sticker

Hi, I'm pretty much sold on the product and ready to buy. The only reason I havnt purchased it already is the complete lack of any info about if the part is even legal to have installed for "on-road" use. I live in California which requires a certification sticker under the hood for the aftermarket intake to pass smog checks durring the visual inspection, does it have this cert. sticker? Also I would like to know as much info as possible about my specific vehicles Volant cold air kit (2000 Chevy Camaro SS 5.7L) open or closed box set up? ect. Thank You

Hi Brent, this intake is not CARB exempt, so it does not meet emmissions standards in California. It is an Enclosed Air Box kit, and includes Volant's Pro 5 air filter.
