This unit works well for drying the Nooks and crannys of a motorcycle. Turning on the second stage removes a bit left over from the first stage. So I use the first stage ( half power to quickly dry the bike. The second stage for the very tight areas in around the engine etc. If you use the second stage for any period of time you need a circuit that can can handle over 15 amps as it will trip a 15 AMP breaker when you use both stages. I Have a 20 AMP breaker with a dedicated outlet for power tools and it works fine but it did trip a 15 amp line. The cord is long but it may be a stretch if the oulet is in the wrong place and DONT use a regular extension cord if you need extra length."
