Bought this for my boyfriend who loves fishing. He always keeps a couple of poles in his truck for those spur of the moment times when he wants to fish. He drives a Nissan armada and he puts the poles way in the back but then they are always in the way and we are trying to be careful not to break them. I was trying to think of something he can carry them in and researched everywhere Online. Then this website showed up in my search and I saw these!! I wasn't sure if it would fit right or if he would like it but when he opened it up he loved it!! He said he was trying to find something like this for awhile now. He actually mounted these to the back door window, he just collapses the poles. Now they are out of the way and easy to access. Great gift. Fast shipping. And great price! Definitely recommend.

I put the window mount on the side window of my Explorer. I placed two ice fishing rods in the mount the night before I was going fishing. The next morning the mount had fallen off. I took the rods out and put the mount back up by itself. It didn't last a day before falling off.

I really liked the style and concept however the mounts needed to come away from the window further. Due to the shape of my 2012 Subaru Outback the poles did not fit around the interior trim. I didn't want my poles up against the interior trim. For the price, it was worth a shot.

The mount served the purpose I bought it for -- to safely transport our fishing rods while still having the reel attached. It never dislodged from its suction cups on the side window and it was very convenient when moving from one fishing spot to another. The only drawback I saw is the rods I have (10'6" long), even though in two pieces, extended forward and blocked use of the rear passenger door -- not a real problem for me as I seldom take more than one passenger with me. Overall, a very good product and one that I would recommend to anyone.
