We take a lot of modern conveniences for granted. The toaster oven. The autogyro. The Flowbee. Humankind once had to burn their bread over an open fire and trim their hair into neat bowl cuts using either scissors or teeth. Likewise, automobile owners didn’t always have the ability to flip a switch and turn on their turn signal light to warn other drivers about where they were planning to go. Old-school drivers had to use elaborate hand signals in place of turn signal lights and tail light lenses. This became problematic when veterans of WWII came home with missing arms and could not make the proper gestures, so auto makers set to work inventing turn signals and tail lights. Today, you can’t even get a vehicle that isn’t equipped with turn signal lights, tail lights and third brake lights. And it’s our job as responsible auto owners to keep these important safety systems up and running.
Life on the highway can be cruel, and there are a lot of ways for your turn signal light to fizzle out. Fender benders are a primary cause of turn signal light damage because your turn signal assembly and factory turn signal lens are no match against a beefy bumper rolling at 20 mph. A far less common but still obnoxious problem is a bum turn signal bulb socket, which stops the flow of electrical juice into your turn signal light’s bulb. Luckily, all of these problems are easy to fix by ordering some OEM-grade replacement parts. You can even do the work at home with standard hand tools and little bit of elbow grease.
Tail lights have the important job of warning other motorists when you’re about to come to a commanding halt. Unfortunately, each tail light assembly on your vehicle has a ton of little parts that all have to be repaired or replaced if they wear out. For example, if another vehicle’s bumper decides to reach out and kiss your ride’s rear, it can crack your tail light lenses, tweak your tail light lens assembly, or bust up your tail light bezel. Plus, exposure to scorching sunlight can turn your stock tail light lens seal as hard and crusty as a scab. The only fix for this kind of tail light housing damage is to install some new parts.

Of course, you are under no obligation to keep your tail lights looking stock. One of the most popular automotive upgrades is installing aftermarket tail lights. Designed with radical styles, aftermarket tail lights come in a wide variety of options, including cutting-edge LED tail lights and Euro-inspired altezza tail lights. Whether you need to replace faulty stock tail lights or simply want to customize your car, truck or SUV, aftermarket tail lights are an ideal option.
The mystics believe that the third eye (otherwise known as the inner eye or ajna chakra) is our gateway to higher consciousness. An automobile’s equivalent is its third brake light. Mounted dead center on the roof line of your ride’s rear end, the third brake light provides an added warning sign to other motorists that you’re in the process of stopping. These stock parts are easy to replace with factory-style parts, but they can also be upgraded with high-tech LED third brake lights. The choice is yours.
