Look good from a distance, a lot of scratches on the end caps that I will have to try to polish out myself. Expected a lot better quality for $400.00. Not worth the hassle of shipping them back to hope for better quality.

Purchased to upgrade my 2010 Ford F150 4x4. Received order quickly instructions could be a little better as gasket did not cover stake holes. But after trying install 3 times I had it figured out. Drill hole in orginal stakehole cap and install with supplied gasket. They look really sharp.

The rails are great, and the tie down ends are extremely heavy duty. Excellent. Did not like the expandable rubber mounts included with the kit. A universal "one size fits all", I did not feel they would provide a solid mount. So, I was able to track down a set of Dodge truck mounts (bolt on connections vs rubber mounts), and made them connect to the Putco rails. This is now bullet proof. I have this on a Dodge truck with a Backflip F1 bed cover as well. Tight fit, but works well.

Look real nice on my 2011 Chevy 2500HD. They are a little bigger than I expected but look great. The directions could be a little better on the assembly of the bolt to rubber assembly. If you have the black piece that goes between the box and tie down piece the rubber is to long to get together. It can be done but is a real pain. Directions do not state which way they go and my thinking was to have the square raised part of the black spacer down to painted part of the box thinking it would keep the insert square in the box stake hole and that did not work. After I got that issue behind me it went real smooth.

These rails were delivered quickly, and in perfect condition. The toughest part was cutting the hole in my F150 manufacturer-installed bed caps. Finally a good use for my roto-zip saw. Once that was done, the rails fit on perfectly. The beefy looking rails perfectly balance the matching side steps.

I would highly recommend the Putco Boss Locker Side Bed rails for the Ford F150. It really makes the truck look great. It was very easy to install and the fit was perfect. The only recommendation is that the screw into the mounts need to have a cover to keep water out of them.

Does this work with bed covers like the Bak Flip G2 cover on my 2012 Ford F150 XLT SuperCrew 67" (5'7") bed.
