"Putco bed rails are in my opinion the best available. Fit and finish was perfect. I'm also very pleased with my first transaction with AutoAnything. I saved many dollars over my local dealer."

"The rail ends are chromed but the bar is just stainless. I have a 8 foot bed and no center stake cover is provided. I purchased retractable Anchor Point bull rings to cover the stake hole.
Easy to assemble and install, but torque specs for bolt requires special equipment or guessing."

"I had a pair of chrome rails on my 2003 Dodge Ram that started to rust and did damge to my truck. I replace them with the Putco stainless steel rails and I could see as I was installing them what a mistake the first rails purchased were. The Putco rails ARE THE BEST ON THE MARKET!"

"I removed an older tonneau cover that haad seen better days aannd installed the side rails. what a nice change. I already had chrome tipped tailpipes and the rails really catch your eye. I like things that stay shiny."

"The torque specs need to be changed. The nut plates will strip if the bolts are torqued to given specifications."

"I ordered a set of Putco Locker Side Bed Rails from AutoAnything.com and could not be happier. The initial online order was very easy. I had a specific question & called. I was able to speak immediately with a representative who knew the product and answered my question. The rails came one day before promised in perfect condition. The rails installed so easily I chuckled to myself. EVERYTHING was included except the allen wrench! It all fit perfectly. The quality was perfect. I am very happy. I will buy from AutoAnything.com again without any reservation."

"This rail kit is a breeze for anyone! Everything is included in kit but the 1/4" allen wrench, and a torque wrench; the allen wrench needed to install, and the torque wrench to make sure you get them tight enough. Installation took less than 30 minutes, and was VERY easy. And to top it off, they look GREAT!"

Don't forget the torque wrench

"I purchased my bed rails for the style, look and function. They were easy enough to install myself. The only problem I ran into was that I didn't have a torque wrench to complete the full installation myself. I was able to borrow one from a friend. Putco should add this to items required for installation instead of just an allen wrench. Regardless, I am fully satisfied with the rails I purchased and the Putco reputation."
