I like the appearance of the rails, they really make my truck look great!!! I had a hard time trying to figure out the directions as they were not very clear. I had to contact customer service for Putco and they helped me figure it out within seconds. A+ for telephone customer service. D- for directions in the package. I would most likely recommend this product for looks only, I don't trust the tie downs as to the way the rails were installed. Still, I'd buy them again!!!

The stainless finish shines like chrome. Rails were a breeze to install in the existing stake holes in the bed and tightened nicely with the expansion blocks. (I never discovered a torque spec in the instructions received in the packaging. A torque spec was mentioned in some online installation instructions; however it didn't reference the required inch or foot pounds). The rails were a little pricey but I would recommend this product to others.

Super easy to install. 30 minutes tops... Fit my Dodge Dakota perfect, and they definitely give it a nice look. They would look better without the "seam" where the rail joins to the elbow. Seemed like a pretty steep price for the product, but I am happy with the looks of them.

Overall I am very pleased with the product. There are two areas for improvement. 1.They should come with gaskets that completely cover the stake-holes. make sure you consider this when mounting and make your own out of thin plastic. Otherwise you will see the corners of the stake holes. 2.The tubing is slightly yellower than the mounting ends more than likely due to the fact that they are of completely different gage metals. Nobody will notice. The tubing, mounts, and plastic sleeves all go together perfectly. Nicely manufactured.
