I am alway the lead in my group on dressing out my truck. Everyone had bed rails so I needed to get rails that had a little something extra. The Putoc Rocket Locker Side Bed Rails are just that. They look good and very functional, now everyone else is thinking they should change out their bed rails to these because of the lights on the end. For the next generation of bed rails, add back up lights to the package. People like myself, who tow a bass boat a lot would appreicate the extra light when backing up at the ramp at 5:00 in the morning going bass fishing.

Nice addition once you get by the lack of correct details for the install and mods. I found that all the ratings on the rails held true with some additions. Instructions don't tell you have to omit the orings for the light end castings. Had to wrap electrical tape around the casting to prevent them from rattling. Wiring color codes also completely off for the 2011 F250. As everyone pointed out the bolts are to short for the light end castings, rubber bushings must be modified to prevent pinching of the wiring.

The rubber blocks for holding the Rocket Pockers in needed to be cut and drilled in the back for the wires. The back rubber blocks need to be about an inch shorter then the front and need a seperate hole for the wireing. I was told they would fit in the same hole as the bolts but if you tried that, even if they did fit which they dont, there is a very very good chance the threading of the bolts would cut into the synchronized lights of the Rocket Locers and blow a fuse for your tails lights and ruin the wireing for the Rocket Lockers. My suggestion is immediately change the back rubber blocks before someone blows the fuse for there tail lights and gets into an accident because of them.
