"The inner double sided tape holds okay, the strips of tape that are supposed to hold the cap flat to the rail do not stick, too much space between the cap and rails. I had to completely remove one side and double up the 3M tape to hold it flat (that tape is not cheap). It's still not tight and you can feel the gap between the rail and cap if you push down, which you can hear the tape want to stick and then let go. Both sides do this, however it appears they will not fly off. I almost thought I would need attach with self tapping screws from the inner rail. For now, I'll leave it as is. They do look good, a fair match to the factory cap on the tailgate."

"Easy to put on my 2006 chevy long box. Took less than 15 minutes. Now it completes the look of the truck. Like the 'ridgeback' look! Ooverall great product, but have only had them for a week."

"Bought the Bushwacker caps for my 2005 Cheverlot truck they fit wonderful and took minutes to install. The inside bed clips are not mentioned but work great."

"I ordered these with stake pocket holes hping they would be large enough to accommodate the stake pocket retractable tie-downs. But no such luck. They were however easily modified (enlarged with a utility knife, file and sandpaper). I was also hoping my application would have the no dril screw retainers, but again no such luck. There was not enough 3M tape on the rear most portion of the bedcaps and they seem not to want to adhere there anyway. Otherwise I'm really pleased with look and protection they provide."

"Installation was relatively easy but 3M tape could be easier to work with. More pressure is required for longer periods on the front end corners to make it hold. I had to install clamps overnight to get good contact."

"The Bushwacker bed rail caps are a quality product & improved the appearance of my truck. They fit perfectly & install easily but must be properly alligned when being installed. The 3m tape is not very forgiving & once the cap is pressed into place it is STUCK solid. Also, as previously mentioned in other reviews a little more of the 3m tape may be needed for your installation. I am very pleased with the bed caps & would highly recommend them for their great appearance and function. AutoAnything had the best price I found & the free shipping was a definite bonus."

"The only issue I can find, is in the amount of tape supplied to install. I bought more 3m tape, so that the rails had a more solid point of contact, where it met the truck bed. Other than that, they are excellent rails, that look great on the truck. Fit like a glove. I highly recommend, but get the additional tape."

"I really like the BedRail Caps..It improves the look of my truck plus it protects the rails tremendously!! I slide product over and on the rails daily, so they take a lot of abuse...They are absolutely worth the money...The only drawback is that they don't come with enough tape to securely set them to the truck body...I bought some cheap double sided tape and that seemed to work well...The only other thing is that the holes didn't line up perfectly, but they were close enough...Overall a great product..."
