Dee Zee Stainless Steel Side Bed Caps Customer Reviews

Shifting cargo can nick, gouge and scrape your truck's vulnerable bed rails. More than just unsightly, this damage to your paint will eventually lead to rust, and one very large bill from the body shop. Protect your truck's vulnerable bed rails in style with Dee Zee's Stainless Steel Side Bed Caps. Like body armor for your rig, these bed caps are completely custom-built and can withstand almost any abuse.
For a solid line of defense that also looks great, Dee Zee crafts your Stainless Steel Side Bed Caps from rugged 16-gauge stainless steel. No other metal even comes close to matching stainless' strength and resistance to rust. Plus, the Stainless Steel Side Bed Caps are meticulously buffed for a mirror shine you can shave in.
There's no wimpy strip of tape holding your Stainless Steel Side Bed Caps in place. Instead, a series of hidden bolts anchor these caps down for a shift-free fit. Though stake pocket holes are optional, every pair comes with a 1-year warranty.

THEY LOOOKED OK BUT THEY WHEE BENT WRONG SO TO MAKE THEM FIT TIGHT AGAINST THE BOX SIDE YOU HAD TO PUT SPACERS BETWEEN THE LIP OF THE BOX AND THE EDGE OF THE BED CAPS WHEN YOU SCREWED THEM ON

I purchased a set of bed caps for my pickup, which was a stepside. The only ones you can purchase was for a fleetside short box. I decided to purchase some since there was no other choice and I needed to cover the sides due to the previous owner had ruined the paint on the pichup from a shell. The holes on the pickup for the racks were totally different from the fleetside. I sent the first set back, ( which I haven't recieved a credit back for yet) and ordered some with no holes. I had to find a spacer piece to put under the caps to make these work for a step side and cut my own holes in these so I could install my mororcycle tie down brackets into. I like the product but wish there was some more options for stepside that would fit, but realize there probably isn't enough demand for this application. Life is that way sometimes, you have to do what you have to do. Thank you to the person whom I talked to on the phone when I returned the first set, they were very profesional and helpfull. Just need my credit back now, I figured I would give it another week or so. I purchase these from Autoanything
