I purchased a set of bed caps for my pickup, which was a stepside. The only ones you can purchase was for a fleetside short box. I decided to purchase some since there was no other choice and I needed to cover the sides due to the previous owner had ruined the paint on the pichup from a shell. The holes on the pickup for the racks were totally different from the fleetside. I sent the first set back, ( which I haven't recieved a credit back for yet) and ordered some with no holes. I had to find a spacer piece to put under the caps to make these work for a step side and cut my own holes in these so I could install my mororcycle tie down brackets into. I like the product but wish there was some more options for stepside that would fit, but realize there probably isn't enough demand for this application. Life is that way sometimes, you have to do what you have to do. Thank you to the person whom I talked to on the phone when I returned the first set, they were very profesional and helpfull. Just need my credit back now, I figured I would give it another week or so. I purchase these from Autoanything

Great look at a good price. Very easy to install (two bolts and preapplied adhesive tape. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in a bed cap.

Fit perfect with supplied shims.  The supplied mounting tape was not enough for a secure fit, but I bought an additional 50 ft. locally.  Very happy!

I am pleased with the look these bed caps provide but I am unhappy with the fit and finish of the product. The outside edges of the caps are VERY sharp and will easily scratch your finish if your not careful installing. The stake holes are not cut out to match the truck. The rear hole on the passenger side is a 1/4 to 1/2 inch off but my Tonneau cover hides it. 
Overall I needed to protect my bed caps for a Tonneau cover installation and these caps worked.

It would be much easier toinstall if there were spacers included with the package.  If not needed they could be thrown away.  I needed them aand they were not in the box.  Would have made centering and installation easier.

Instalation went well. Edges are sharp on outside edge, they will scratch finnishes if you do not tape edge during trial fit.

I wasn't really impressed with the fit. The side rails I ordered didn't have the spacers that the instructions stated " may " be included...well, they weren't, but they needed to be included. I've used DeeZee for a lot of years, but I really think I would try another manufacturer next time around.
