The autoanything folks were great as usual. The product though was somewhat disappointing. The metal was real thin so if you move anything across it plan on it getting damaged. Paint was to glossy but that just me. And like a lot of the other reviews I wish the top fully cover the cap. The instruction manual was difficult to follow. These are not auto anythings fault but Dee Zee description is not accurate
More bling then protection

Part arrived with bent corners,but damage clearly not from shipping. Aluminum plate 1/2 the thickness of protector from Dee Zee on my 89 f-250 bought in 90.Did not wrap over tailgate, did cover top of tailgate but this edge created a snag point for anything you slide on gate into truck. Spent 3 hours hand fitting to sit flat on gate and rounding top edge to conform to gate and eliminate snag point.Dee Zee to dependent on stick tape. Used round head allens and plastic push fasteners.Nice bling

I'am very happy with my tailgate protector, it looks great, it was a ease to install,. After I got it on, something didn't look right, so I had to order the bed caps for the sides. Now it really looks great ! Very happy with my order.

Poduct arrived in undamaged box, but it had a big jam in lower left corner. beat that out, but still not perfect. when installing noticed the roll over the gate metal was all ripply. Very poor quality controle. wanted a front bed protector from Dee Zee but now not sure. very disapointed!
Looks great and easy to install.

Installation was easy and fast. Fit is perfect and the holes line up with existing bolts. My only complaint is that it does not fully wrap around the cap and I will probably use a sealant at the top. Looks nice and will protect the tailgate.
