I liked that these were smooth, covered more than another brand, and had 3 rows of tape down the entire length of the caps. I received the first set, and they had a bad bend in them, even though the box barely showed it. Then the second box came in and there was a slight waviness to the caps, but straight enough for me to keep them. So my suggestion to Bushwacker would be to ship these in styrofoam so that they will be less likely to take on any defects during shipping.

Not a bad product but you have ONE chance to get installation right! There is no room for error. The 3M adhesive sets up IMMEDIATELY and if you are a millimeter off, you are out of luck. If his is your first time installing, think it through and walk through installation BEFORE removing tape backing. Mine are not quite perfect, but if I had a second or third chance, I could probably get it right. I get the feeling these rails will outlast the truck and will only come off in the crusher.
