    Description

You’ve probably bought or at least thought about a bed liner for protecting your truck bed from scratches, gouges and rusting. Extend that same protection concept to your vulnerable bed rails that take a beating, by covering them with Putco Skins Bed Caps—a sturdy metal guard that’s custom made for your truck.

Not only do they protect, but Putco Skins Bed Caps look great. The smooth 17-gauge stainless steel wraps 1½” over the rail, and is available with or without stake pocket holes.

Installing your new truck bed caps takes only minutes. Just peel the backing off the pre-applied 3M heavy-duty adhesive tape, line the cap up and press down. They’ll stay put for years of use. And, your Putco Skins Bed Caps are backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Our 30+ Putco Skins Bed Caps customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

The quality of the skins are great. I'm not pleased with the fit. The edges of the skins aren't flush with the sides of the box like the photo. They are sharp and hazardous. I will be taking them off due to the fit and for safety.

I had a different brand on my half tin that was nit available for my current truck so I went with the Putco's. Easy to install, very good shine. The cut on the outer edge is wavy and the rounded edge on the back look like they crimped it down with pliers to get the bend. I'm not that happy with the overall look.

I actually sent back another brand of rail caps and ordered Putco rail caps after installing Putco fender trims. Just like the fender trim, the bed rail caps are of superior quality, fit, and finish. I have also ordered a Putco tailgate cap that I'm confident will also be superior to any brand available for my 88 GMC Sierra long bed. Just spent 5K to repaint the truck and camper shell and these Putco parts really highlight that job.

The Putco bed skins are easy to install, are highly polished, and look good from a distance. However the stamping and therefore the fit is not as good as it was in 1999 when I put them on my last new truck. Not really worth the price.

Received in two days. Opened them up, cleaned bed rails and applied per instructions. Couldn't have been easier and they look great!

They are excellent and dress up the truck but they scratch easily. If you have a work truck you have to be OCD to keep them scratch free.

I'm very satisfied with Auto Anything Accessories and mostly satisfied the Putco product. The stainless steel pickup bed caps and matching tailgate cap arrived quickly with no packaging damage. However one bed cap had a dent in it. All the edges were sharp (had to wear gloves) and required sanding with 220 emery cloth. The bed caps fit perfectly and installation was easy. The tailgate cap was a little loose for the thickness of the tailgate. This was resolved by adding a faucet washer under the cap at each of the four screws. The mirror polished surface was restored by wiping with acetone. The product gave my truck exactly the look I wanted.

These were apparently damaged in shipping so its hard to tell, I think the box was dropped on its end and that bent the ends in which made the ends not fit well and the holes in the stake pockets off.

I am in the process of sending my putco skin bed caps back. They arrived with bad scratches on both caps. Hopefully I don't have to wait much longer.
