"Bed caps look great on my white and black Chevy Silverado HD. I put extra 3M tape on the outside edge to make them stick down better, Dee Zee barely puts any on there so buy extra before installing them. As always autoanythings shipping was extremely quick. Thanks"

"overall, easy to install, but if you make a slight slip the adhesive is brutal to move, take your time. Tough looking, a great functional accessory for a truck that works."

"I am quite pleasd with the appearance of my truck with the bed caps, however, I was disappointed when I was informed theat there was no front rail bed cap. Since Dee Zee apparantly does not have them, can you inform me where I could purchase one?"

"Fit was close but edges were turned up, had to adjust with a rubber hammer. Ordered the tail gate piece also and it was 3-4 inches too long on both sides. I wonder if I got the right part. Easy to fix with a grinder and a file. Would suggest using self tapping screws instead of the bolts supplied to attach."

DEEZEE Bed Caps - Okay but not perfect

"Looks good, but didn't quite fit as would be expected from a "custom" kit. If you get the whole kit definitely put the front on first otherwise you'll have a hell of a time getting it in if you do the side rails first (they overlap the front piece by a little more than 1/8" on each side). I don't recommend using the auto tape either - if you don't get it on right the first try you're screwed - just bolt/screw them in place instead. The tape looked like it was applied to the underside of the rails by a blind madman anyway. The side rails leave a 1/4" gap under the rails on the inside of the bed. The kit included 2" plastic "spacers" I guess for this issue. They were too big and there were only two of them (the instuctions showed 4). If you use them - drill and screw through them (you'll probably have to trim off the bottom edge when you're done - they stick out). My tiedowns in the stake holes ended up holding the sides down the best. I had to drill and add a few screws to get the front and back to hold tight. The bolts that come with the side rails stick out a bit too much - easy to catch on them. I am probably going to replace them with flat head screws. If you want an affordable option it gets the job done and they look good once on, but expect to cuss a little getting to that point."

"The snow finally went away. Installation of the bed caps was easy and they fit perfectly. If you are handy with an electric drill you will be done before your coffee cup is empty! I also installed the front bed cap and tailgate cap. They all look great. Russ"
