Putco Boss Lockers ads a great look to your truck! Pretty easy to install, although expansion blocks were drilled alittle small. Overall very happy with the product!!

These side rails are better than I expected. Very well made. They give my GMC Sierra that is equipped with 4" chrome tubular side steps a very attractive balanced look. No wimpy look here! After reading the instructions they were installed in less than 30 minutes. Although these side rails are large they do not interfere with my Truxedo bed cover. I would highly recommend these Putco rails.

Only half of my order arrived. The other half ended up on the other side of the country somehow. When I went to install them, it turned out that the package was missing two plastic sleeves that were vital to the installation. Autoanything handled the missing pieces in a friendly expedited manner as always. They are in the process of getting me my other package right now. I have faith that they will resolve it quickly and painlessly as they have for me in the past. Overall I am quite satisfied. They look excellent on my truck, unfortunately they do not look so flattering on the truck I did for another guy. DO NOT put these on a 5.5 box GMC crew cab; they look awkward and tacky.

I recived my Putco Boss Locker Side Bed Rails three days after I placed the order, that was sweet. I wasent home when it was delivered but when I seen the box the first thing I thought was Man this thing has been kicked around" I opened the box and found that the rails had a thin brown paper raped around the tub but nothing to protect the end pieces. The rail end pieces had rubbed and hit against each other during shipping and handling scraching, denting and marking up the inside radius of the ends relly bad. I started to but them back into the box and return them but the box wasent in good enough condition to ship them back in. It was going to be a big hassel to rebox and ship them back. So, I used my buffer and some emery cloth to smoothen out the scratched places the best I could. Then I started installing the rail. When I started assembling the bolt, washer, rubber block and threaded plate I found that the bolts where not long enough to go through the rubber blocks. I had to cut the rubber blocks in half with my ban saw so that the bolts would go through and thread onto the plate. I got the rails installed with out any other problems. Now the rails gave my truck the look that I was looking for. I really like the look the bigger diameter rails give and they seem to be solid. I would rate the look the rails give my truck five stars, three stars for parts and fit and no stars for the packaging. So thats about a three star review.

I knew I wanted these rails for my 2006 GMC Extended cab 2500HD. A problem I had was trying to find the exact ones to fit my truck. A quick call to AutoAnything and the staff that helped me it was done deal in two minutes or less. I was told it may take a few days or up to maybe two weeks for delivery, however I got them delivered in just about 5 days...not bad. The directions that accompany the rails leave much to be desired. It's pretty simple to figure out, but another quick call and I was ushered through the parts assembly in less than a minute...good to go.The rails come in two differant diameters, and I chose the larger ones. They are really well made and they do look "BOSS" . I have had several comments and inquiries as where I got them. I asy go for it!!!!! Tom Whitmore Rochester NY
