The sticky tape is extremely sticky so I have no fear of the caps coming off. You do have to be careful putting them on, however, as once the tape touches the vehicle it will not budge. I was a little disappointed with the cut outs option - they looked hand cut instead of manufactured but they were in the correct places and the caps will do their job well.

Nice add to an aging Ranger. Easy to do, but must pay attention. I was not sure about the tape, but man its as tough as it gets. Love it.....

I bought the Bushwacker Ultimate Diamondback Bedrail caps because they appeared to cover more than other bedrail caps. After I installed them I discovered that they are not compatible with tonneau covers which clamp to the inside of the bedrails because of the small bulges for the spring clips which help hold the Bushwacker bedrail caps in place. I was able to modify the bedrail caps by removing the spring clips and cutting the bulges off. Don't buy if you plan to install a similar tonneau cover

I love these caps for my Ford Ranger. Not only do they protect the bed side, they also make the overall appearance of the truck look sharper

over all they fit great except they need to be about a half inch longer and the post holes need to be centered. But they look good on the truck.
