These caps are exactly what I needed to complete the GM bedliner in my 2009 Sierra. The pattern matches the factory pattern on the rear spoiler/liftgate cover and are of high quality material. The mounting tape supplied was fresh (not out of date) and very pliable, making this installation a breeze.I am completely satisfied with the price, quality and appearance of this product. The dealership wanted twice the price for their version of these bed rail caps.

You must leave tape covering on on BOTH sides (inner and outer) and remove ONLY the top tape coverings. Since this is "One and Done", (You only get one time to put bed rails 'exactly' where they should be.) I set the caps correctly positioned on truck rail and then put painters tape on the rail-cap edge with a small piece stuck below on the truck surface. I then used a small T-square and draw a vertical straight line across both pieces of tape. After removing only the top tape coverings, I slowly realigned the lines on the tape and pressed the top rail-cap onto the truck rail. Then per instructions, I removed the rest of the side tape coverings. Rail cap was correctly aligned and positioned. Thanks. Stretch2c

The bed caps did not install as easily as I expected. I washed and dried the vehicle as directed and prepared the surface with the alcohol pads provided. I think the two-sided tape must have been old because the outer edge pieces did not stick well at all and one cap began to pop up. I removed the cap and two-sided tape from both the vehicle and cap then applied new 3M tape. I re-installed the cap and it worked great. I plan on doing the same to the other cap. It may have been my fault, but I can't be certain. Regardless, other than the holes that were cut in the caps not lining up "exactly", the caps look great on the vehicle.

These rail caps installed very easy. I think that the bends could be a little tighter then what they are. Holes for screwing/bolting these on are worthless. The holes line up right in the stake pocket holes.(Just have to relocate holes)The hardware I got were carrige bolts and self tapping screws are all you need. Overall though they make my truck look good. I got them for function though, (farm truck, with a diamond plate toolbox).

These caps were worth the couple extra bucks over the competition. They have some strategically placed screws rather than just adhesive to hold them down and my favorite part is the low coverage on the back pillar that matches up to the OEM tailgate cover perfectly in height and texture for my 01 Chev 2500HD.
