Tailgate cap looks great, really adds to appearance of vehicle. Fit could be little bit tighter, but works ok. Needed two extra holes, no big deal, for my installation I used both double sided tape as well as 4 screws. Great value and quality, really heavy duty. So pleased with product neighbors will be ordering same.

I had the same cover on my tailgate shortly after I got the truck. However, I managed to tear it up with the 4 wheeler winch hitting it when loaded on the bed, then a 1200 lb wet bale slid off the bed and tore the cap off with it bending it beyond repair. So i got the same one again. Will be more careful this time. Looks good on the truck. This is the only one I saw that took screws to hold it in place instead of a lame line of tape like the others

I purchased the tailgate cap to cover up a few minor scratches on my 06' GMC Canyon, and to protect it in the future. My order arrived right on time and it fit perfectly. Installation was easy and took less than 5 minutes. This product is a must-have for anyone who uses the tailgate on their truck and aren't fortunate enough to have had one pre-installed from the factory. The tailgate guard was highly polished. It was slick as a mirror. It came with four bags of what was described as "self tappiing screws". These were the cheapest pieces of crap that I have ever seen. They literally melted when trying to use them to install the guard.A trip to buy high quality stainless steel selftapping screws was made and the guard was then installed.I suggest everyone "dry fit the guard over the existing guard to see if the existing guard needs to be removed first. I removed mine first and ended up putting it back on and installing the new one over the old. It looks and fits much better this way.

I just purchased and installed this tail gate cap and am very pleased with the appearance, fit and ease of installation. If you take your time and follow the procedure listed it is very easy to install. I already had a bed liner with its own bed rail and this cap matched up with it perfectly.Would highly recommend this product.
