We had already purchased two different, much more expensive racks from a local, well known outdoor center. Neither fit the Rav well and would bang the spare tire going over any bump. The Curt rack was easy to assemble and easy to install. I don't think you can beat it for the price. Recognize, the Rav is very low to the ground so we still need to be careful not to drag tires going over dips and curbs. That said, definitely a good investment."
