The Softride is a much better design. The rack is very sturdy, the bikes do not move and ride securely on the rack. The pull down feature that allows you to access your back hatch is very easy to use. All in all, the Softride is a better design than the more expensive thule. I also like the fact that you can lengthen the rack a few inches to allow more room between the racks."
