    Description

Experienced riders have long known that the best way to transport their bicycles is on roof racks. They work with any bike frame, and don’t scratch the paint. The only issue with roof racks, though, is that they’re backbreaking to use unless you’re a giant. But, those problems are history, thanks to Thule’s ingenious T2 Hitch Bike Carrier. By bringing the roof-mount style carrier down to your hitch, you can load up safely and quickly without the strain.

Never hoist your 2-wheeler over your head again! With a Thule T2 Hitch Bike Carrier mounted in your 1 1/4" or 2” receiver, you can load up in minutes without breaking a sweat. Its vice-grip cradles hold onto your wheels while the adjustable straps keep your ride stable and secure. When you’re not towing your prized bikes, it folds up and out of the way.

The standard Thule T2 Hitch Bike Carrier holds up to 2 cycles at a time. If you need room for 4, get the optional Add-On carrier. And, it’s equipped with Thule’s Snug-Tite receiver lock which eliminates movement and locks the carrier to your vehicle to stop thieves. Built in the USA and backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Our 40+ Thule T2 Hitch Bike Carrier customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

Great Rack looks good and functions well with the car. Just need to by the extension adaptor from the hitch manufacturer to allow the Carrier to fold into the travel position without hitting the trunk. I would recommend having the adaptor threaded so as to alleviate it from bouncing around.

First hitch mounted bike carrier I've ever owned. So far it is easy to use. The assembly directions aren't as clear as they could be but it was all together is less than 30 minutes. It appears to be of high quality but only time will tell. I like it more than any truck mount carrier I have...good product so far.

Cons: It's pricy. Pros: The carrier is easy to load. Adjusts from one size bike frame to another easily, without tools. Side to side sway is minimal. Bikes remained stable, even going over train tracks. The built in locking system is nice. I would buy this again.

I got a good deal on this rack, which is ordinarily quite pricey. But having done research on racks which are < $300 it was apparent that this rack was must in terms of security, ease of use and quality. And I'm glad to say I'm not disappointed!

The Hitch is well made with two locks for each bike (2Cable & 2Arm) and one lock for the Hitch receiver. We took our two bikes out of town on our 1st trip with no problem at all and at a max speed of 70 MPH. Bikes remained secured & tight the entire trip. Two issues I have; a) only three locks cylinders are provided by Thule, so I had to order additional 2 cylinders from Thule that cost me ~$31 (include ship), b) The hitch, when folded makes contact with my car bumper, great if extra 1/4" length

After much research and debate I decided on the Thule T2. It offers the ability to expand, had frame locks for the bikes, comes with a hitch lock, is a platform load, and is user friendly. Initially we were considering the Saris but my wife saw both at the local shop and felt the Saris just seamed cheap when compared to the Thule. It was easy to assemble, it is user friendly, has the necessary adjustments, it is sturdy and does not shake when traveling. I recommend the Thule.

I love this carrier! I have an older(Late 70's)5-speed and my husband has a newer 18-speed. I did not want a carrier that I had to lift the bikes over my shoulder to hook up. Took the bikes up to Wisconsin to visit and ride with family. Bikes never wobbled or wiggled the entire ride there and back.
