"I purchased my Safari Rack with the tire carrier accessory about four years ago. I initially bought the rack to free up space in the jeep as we do extensive touring, sometimes hauling a motorcycle on a trailer out west. Getting the full sized spare on the roof makes a big difference. I mounted a ski rack I was gived ( non Surco) and it was some what of a project. I purchased the bike rack because it was engineered to fit my existing Safari Rack. I have had good sucess with my Roof rack and expect the same from my bike rack."

"This kit was very easy to install. Although there could be some slight rocking from side to side as the bike traverses the air both, the fork block and rear wheel tray grab the bike firmly. Mounting the bike is effortless as long as your jeep or suv is equipped with side steps, nerf bars, etc."
