Having some problems with getting the bike portion of the holders tight enough to prevent it from swiveling with a bike on it. Tightening the brackets digs into the bar and is causing permanent damage, so I will not be able to move them after they are spaced and situated. OK rack for the price. I will know what to look for when I am ready to upgrade to a permanent bike rack.

I thought it would fit on our Jeep with the spare tire, but it does not. I am going to see if there is some sort of extension we can get without having to take the spare tire off.

Like the adjustability of the individual brackets and works well on women's bikes without using a frame adapter. Heavy duty construction, well make. Like the locking knob and the ability to install it on any bracket.

I wanted an adjustable Bike Rack that I could put anywhere from 1 to 4 bikes on. I also liked the idea of being able to mount womens bikes without getting the extra bar to put between the seat and the handlebars. This rack does it well. When I searched the internet for the rack I found that AutoAnything had it at the cheapest price and I had done business with Autoanything before and found them to be very reliable. I read a review that stated that they did not think that they could put 4 bikes on the 4-bike rack. So I bought the 5-bike rack and only put 4 of the hold-downs on (spare parts). Plenty of room. Also, with the strap, it is very stable driving down the road!

Drove 1200 miles with 3 bikes. Prior to leaving adjusted the angle of the top bracket for the angle of each bike top tube which made the tires even with the ground. Alternated each bike direction. All adjustments are easy to make and change. Very sturdy, easy to lean down so that hatch could be opened. Would prefer that all 3 knobs lock instead of just the front one. Also purchased the hitch stabalizer and locking pin.

Briefly installed it and put a bike on . "Sturdy" rack, though being a tilt down - there's extra movement left to right. I'm awaiting a hitch stabilizer I ordered, and I plan to combine that with perhaps some stickum felt/foam to tighten up the gap where the main carrier drops down into the bracket device. Got the 4 bike carrier - I didn't try yet - but likely a challenge to get 4 bikes on there.

This bike rack is very study and well made, I would say overall that it is good quality at a fair price. I only have two minor issues. The clamps to hold the bikes work ok, but they take a lot of twisting to get them tight enough. My other complaint is that I don't feel that it fits my vehicle very well. There are only two holes for the hitch pin. Using the first hole, the mount doesn't go far into the hitch, and seems a bit loose, although I'm sure it will hold ok. It won't slide into my hitch far enough to use the second hole, just misses by a about 1/8th inch. Too bad, I think the second one would work better. I may try modifiing it with either a third hole in between the first two, or by trimming off part of the end of the mount.
