Cheap and there's a reason

"This is inexpensive and there is a reason - it's a pain to install, really only holds two bikes unless you want to take the bikes apart, and took FOREVER to secure. The belts slip on my Impala's trunk, the straps didn't stay tight and I had a friend come over to see if I was doing something wrong and he said "no, it's just not easy to work with". We ended up getting two bikes on it - but I used bungie straps to help keep them on. It's inexpensive and I guess an OK product -- but there is NO WAY three full size bikes will fit without a lot of work on the owner's part."

Need a bar!

"If you have a women's bike in the family you need "a bar" for mounting. What no buckles for the little straps that hold down the bike? Rack works like it should though."

"Received it promptly. Found it easy to install, but think I need the accessory bar for proper mounting. I have a boy's bike but not a straight bar on top, so accessory bar may help. Great product all-in-all. Lets me take my bike with me in a secure and simple method."

bike rack for BMW Z4

"I know it sounds strange that have a bike rack on this car, but why havr the car if you can't take your bike. the rack worked perfect for me on the Z4 it held snuggly on the back. it solved my problem of find a rack for the car"

"great bike rack for the price. rack attaches to the car very securely, my only concern is that they send you 6 narrow straps to TIE the bike to the rack, instead of something that clamps or buckles. the picture in the instructions shows the straps secured by buckles, but i was not sent any. i guess i will have to go get some bungee straps??"

"Easy to follow instructions and clip the rack onto a small convertible's trunk seams. Then they just give you six nylon strips to tie your bike to it and I thought that was kind of cheap, so I added some bungies. Then I went 105 mph and the rack nor the bike ever showed any sign of escaping. You do have to double check all the strap tightening, though."

"The swagman mighty 3 bike rack is great but please infrom people that are buying it if they have a woman bike they need the pole So now with the pole I enjoy it It fits great on my toyota Camry I love it thanks"
