Description

At the start of a long journey or the end of a dusty trail ride, the Thule Roadway Bike Rack is a welcome sight. Rather than having to hoist your cycles onto the roof, the Roadway lets you rest your 2-wheelers in comfortable saddles for simple, secure transportation.

Those soft saddles are Thule's innovative new T3 cradles. They're padded to protect your paint from scuffs and vibrations. Adjustable top straps fit snug against most any frame. And, the T3 cradles safely grip your fame tight for stable hauling. It's the T3 cradles that set the Thule Roadway rack apart from inferior competition.

The Thule Roadway's arms are adjustable up and down to accommodate a variety of bikes, and they fold flat when empty. Thule includes a tie-down strap for that extra snugness your bikes require on a long ride.

The Thule Roadway Bike Rack is available in 3 models to hold 2 (Thule 912), 4 (Thule 914) or 5 (Thule 915) bikes. Plus, Thule covers your Roadway Bike Rack with a Lifetime Warranty.

Expected to get a top notch product What really impressed me was Auto anything. Ordered the otem no problems and got the items the next day. Also, I had bought the rack at another site that did not mention it would take three weeks to get to me (was not going to work since I was going camping in two) day later there was the rack on my fron t deck. Great customer service, the best

Used the rack for the first time from New York to Elmer, N.J. Trip was about 2 and 1/2 hours. Rack held all 4 bikes extremely secure and made very little noise while driving. Excellent value for the money from a trusted name.

The Bike Rack is well constructed, except when it comes to security. I am afraid that someone with the right size wrench can just remove the bike rack from my vehicle. I purchased a long chain from a home-improvement store, and had to secure my bikes to the hitch. This was a cheaper option than purchasing the $50.00 lock from Thule, which is really overpriced. Overall I have compared it to Yakima and others, but after reading lots of reviews, I considered Thule Roadway.

this is a great rack. I especially like the quick release levers to lower the rack. The one thing I do not like is the Rack has a threaded hole so you cannot use a standard hitch lock with this rack. I have to use the bolt that comes with the rack and screw it in each time I want to use the rack. I do not leave the rack on my car at all times so having to screw the bolt in is a pain and I cant see dishing out $50+ bucks for Thule's hitch lock.

The rack should tilt down at least 3 more inches, and the lock for the hitch so far i found to be 48.00 to expensive
