"I was impressed with the construction of my bike rack. Being a mechanical engineer, I am always looking over the construction of items and wondering how it was made, and if there is a more efficient, better way to build it. I could not think of any other way that this unit could be made. It is simple, solid and easy to install. Everything was thought of; installation is easy, construction is solid, and lightweight and it takes advantage of the mounting points already available so no drilling is needed. A must for all bike riders."

"This rack works great for two bikes, It's very easy to install and load bikes. I really like how light weight it is as well. When not in use it is extremely easy to fold out of the way or to unattach all together. Great product! I'm not overly familiar with other products but if you have a wrangler I've read many reviews and this rack is a very safe bet unless you have oversized tires.."

"The Spare Me Spare Tire Rack does exactly what I needed to be done. It fits perfectly over the tire on my Jeep Wrangler. It's so easy to set up, and the locking removal feature is extremely creative. I was worried about the elements getting to the rubber of the security straps eventually if I left it on all the time. With the removal feature, no more worries. Now the problem... I have a new Trek Madone 5.1 bike, which does not have a round tubular frame. The bike just makes it on the rack, and it's not a small framed bike. I also bought the optional stabilizing brackets, but have not tried them yet and am concerned they wont fit the bike's contours. If they fit properly, and do the job they are intended to do, I would give the rack a 5-star rating. I'll have to get back to you on that."

"I have to tell you that this rack is so perfect for the riding that I do. It fits right on the back of my spare tire of my CR-V and it even looks cool when there are no bikes on it, LOL. I have used it a bunch of times. I was a little leary about the binders on it but they work GREAT. Well I highly reccomend this item for someone who likes riding and does not want to spend a TON of cash on a rack."

"I made my purchase after finally narrowing my search to two racks. I am so glad I purchased the Thule!! I felt intimidated with the installation, but my 14 year old son & I had it installed in 20 minutes, or less. I've never felt so comfortable with the security of a rack before. The connection is extremely solid and I don't notice the bikes swaying at all. I love the fact that it locks on the car & can be removed easily for carwashes, etc. I am offically sold to Thule."

"love the bike rack it is very easy to use the only thing I would suggest is to buy the anti-sway cage with the rack this will stop the bikes from swaying and hitting each other we did not know about the cage until we already recieved the rack. If we had ordered it all together we would not have had to pay additional shipping."

"This rack was very easily installed. The hardest part was removing my spare from the Wrangler. I had it installed in less than 15 minutes. Fits tightly and securely. I'm very happy with this rack."
