"The no wobble bolt is no a no wobble at all. We have a 1 1/4 hitch and even after installing the bolt it still moves from side to side. We need to use bungee cords to keep it from moving."

"I wanted a high quality yet affordable hitch mounted bike rack. I had seen this rack on the site where I bought my bikes for $50 more. I had priced racks in a shop for $100-$150 more. This rack looks good,it is easy to operate, and the feature that allows the rack to tilt away from the trunk is very important. I plan to travel with my bikes so I will not have to take the rack off to get to my luggage.I highly recommend this product and AUTOANYTHING."

"This bike is great. Fit my receiver just fine. After installing the no-wobble bolt the rack does move up and down but very slightly and need to apply lots of pressure. Not sure if by design or maybe I did something wrong, but i'm ok with it. Had to buy my own cable to make sure no one tries to steal it. Beast feature is the ability to fold the rack down and away from the vehicle to get access to the back of vehicle, even with bikes mounted. You do have to hold on and slowly let it down but it's harder to bring it back up ;)"

"It is solidy bult. The only plastic pieces are the spacers between the bike clamps and the bike clamps themselves. We had a bit of trouble with the really small bikes for 6 hear olds, but with only a little imigination they went on. You have to have wrenches of two different sizes to put the rack together, but it only took about 5 minutes once the wrenches were in hand. It does not have a built in security cable - you have to provide your own."

"Very pleased with this item. It would be better if the hole for the hitch insert was big enough to accept my regular hitch pin for the class 2 hitch I have, but I was able to drill it out and make it fit."

"The Carrier is sturdy. And was very easy to install. A very good feature is how simple the rack folds down and out of your way when NOT carrying bikes. The only negative aspect of this carrier was the way I received it. The box was destroyed and taped all over to cover up where the factory staples were removed. There's a scratch on the frame and the allen decal was rubbed off. But over time my bikes would probably do the same. The packaging should have been better. John "

"Overall great product. It works great for lady's bikes w/o the adaptor. (read the instructions) I do want to touch on the "no-wobble" bolt. If you have drilled this out to make it fit the normal hitch pen, you have voided your lifetime warranty. I use the bolt, and attach a cable look so no thieves can take it. Ok, the bad part; the shipping company that shipped this product left it on my door step leaned up against the storm door. When I got out of the shower, I couldn’t even open the door. When I picked up the product, the packaging was wet and everything fell out of the box. I had to pick it up piece by piece."

"Well mad & nice looking. Would like some method to lock to car to remove temptation. There should be a spring (coil, leaf or larger rubber gromet) inside the lower vertical bar that would cause the spring latch on the upper vertical bar to be under horizontal tension when closed."

"For the cost, the Allen bike rack is a great value. I did extensive internet research and this rack had features and benefits equal to or greater than other name brand racks. The only issue that I had, whick others talked about, was the hitch pin and screw pin supplied did not fit my hitch. It was no big deal. I just bored out the receiver hole."

"This product is awesome. The price was unbeatable, the installation and assembly was easy. It holds 5 bikes with no problem, and doesn't allow the bikes to touch the vehicle. The way that it folds back to allow for entrance into the back of the vehicle is a really nice feature. Overall, this is an excellent product, and wish I would have bought one sooner. Scott"

"I was completely satisfied with the bike rack. The ease of loading the bikes and strapping them in was incredible. We also found it handy for caring beach chairs and a walker while on vacation at the beach. I highly recommend this product."

"After receiving the box (which was damaged), the rack was in good shape wrapped in plastic. It did not took long before I had the rack assembled. Mounting to the truck hitch was no different than any other attachment. I did not experience misfit like some of the other reviews I had read. Maybe Allen has made the changes after reading the reviews. I would recommend this to others."

"fast delivery (5 days) and easy to assemble. Solids and well built. We have 2 bikes but got the 3 bike carrier for easier loading. Three bikes look like they would be very tight and needed to be arranged perfectly to fit on the rack. The only issue we had was the size of the hole on the bottom of the rack that fits into the tow hitch. Allen boosts of a 1/2 bolt that contains a shoulder to give a tighter, no wobble fit. This is true but the hole in the carrier bracket is too small to accomodate the bolt. You either need to drill or file out the hole so the bolt/shoulder fits all the way into the hitch. I read this on previous reviews. It is a wonder Allen has not redesigned this piece. Otherwise, a well constructed, good value rack. Kevin Bethlehem, PA"

"Though AutoAnything offers this rack as suitable for RAV4 vehicle, it actually does not. The spare tire does not allow to unfold the rack . This is the AutoAnything web-site glitch. Cannot say anything bad about the rack itself. The quality is good."

Don't Drill out the hitch hole

"When installing the rack your trailer pin will not fit. DO NOT DRILL IT OUT. I did as other reviewers had said was necessary. Then I realized the rack wobbles. The smaller hole is meant for a special anti-wobble bolt. I then drilled new smaller hole for the special bolt and it was very solid. It is very solidly made of all heavy duty steel and subsequently rather heavy. This not an issue other than when it is off the car it is a bit cumbersome to put away as it also does not fold completely flat. For a couple hundred dollars less than the big names this is a great very sturdy rack that folds clear of the back hatch very easily and seems more than strong enough for five bikes."
