"The bike rack is great for the price. Easy to install. The only fault is the pin does not line up to the pin hole and I will have to drill a bigger hole. Other than that it is a great little bike rack."

"We own three trek trail bikes. The fit is a little tight but the bikes are secure and don't move around in transport. It is much easier to load when you turn the holders sideways to slide the bikes off and on the bike rack."

"The rack was of heavier metal than expected. It seems very sturdy & looks like it will last for a long time.
The minor assembly that was needed was simple & quick. Instructions included were easy to follow.
I was pleased with the rack."

Good value, but doesn't hold 3 bikes

"Pros: Easy installation, carrying arms fold down when you are not carrying any bikes (nice), made of sturdy steel, and doesn’t wobble from the base.
Cons: Carry arms could have been sturdier. It is impossible to fit 3 road bicycles on the 16" arms. You can fit 2 bikes if you load the 2 bicycles in the 1st and 3rd position on the bike arms. It is a real shame, because otherwise it is constructed very well. But what's the point of buying a 3 bike carrier when it can only hold 2 bikes."

"I looked at many bike racks before deciding on the Allen 3-Bike Hitch Carrier. I love it. It was easy to assemble and install and I'm very happy with the quality of the product. It is a great product for a great price."

"This review is written after "testing" this product in a 1,400 miles travel. We stop in different places and ride in the bikes around, and the carrier was a great help in these last two weeks.
I had to increase the size of the hole to lock the carrier to the receiver so I can use the pin that comes with the receiver as others also did it -read their reviews- but I won't consider it a problem but an adjusment. The carrier shakes a little due the uneven surfaces of the route, but this situation has its good side: the cars behind don't want to get close to you because they think that the bike carrier will fall off. This bike carrier, however, is very secure and practical.
I will recommend it for the reasons above and for its affordable price."

Best Rack I've Found .. Glad I Waited

"This bike rack is exactly what I was looking for. Fits my hitch, holds 3 bikes, folds easily out of the way to open the hatch back. Stylish and functional. My only complaint is that the 3/8 inch through hole and matching bolt was smaller than the 1/2 inch hole in my hitch. So I had to buy a 1/2 inch drill bit and drilled another hole through the bike rack and then slid a 1/2 inch locking bolt through the whole deal for a nice, snug, secure attachment."
