Description

Going to the trail, race or staging area has never been less of a drag thanks to the Softride Versa 2-Bike Rack. Its anodized extruded aluminum and powder-coated steel construction makes for the lightest receiver-mounted rack on the market, but it doesn’t compromise strength and long life.

Up to two bikes travel safely and securely. Unlike other hitch-mount bike racks that rattle, Softride’s QuietRide technology creates a virtual jangle-free experience. Telescopic tubing adjusts to accommodate kid-sized or adult-sized frames.

When you need access to the rear of your vehicle, the Softride Versa is designed to get out of your way in a jiffy. When not in use, the rack folds up and out of the way. What’s more, your Softride Versa is backed by a Lifetime warranty.

This is a good product. Heavy duty construction Once adjusted, loading and unloading is a cinch. Cable is a little short as I prefer to lock everything to the truck, not the rack. Very satisfied with the purchase.

The Softride Versa 2-bike rack is the easiest bike rack to load. I don't have to strain myself anymore to load the bikes. Everything you need to install the rack is included in the package. 1 1/4" or 2" hitch doesn't matter. All hardware is included. Even comes with its own hitch lock. A lock down cable for the bikes is also included. Just supply your own lock. I would highly recommend this carrier.

Good rack, poor instructions

Finally got the rack on my Prius but it stuck back so far from the car that people honked at me and thought it was coming off the car! Had a muffler shop cut down the tongue attachment and weld it back together ($25) and now works great. Also assembly instructions may be obvious if youre the one who happened to engineer and design the orriginal product, but for those of us who have never seen one of these things befor, it was a frustrating process. They absolutely need better instructions!

A piece was broke off when I opened the box. I called right away and they said they would send the new part. I am still waiting for that part. It is the black hard plastic piece that the tie-down strap attaches to. The nub was broken off. Can you check to see if this was sent to me? Thank you.

Quiet, Secure

The rack makes absolutely no noise while on my compact car (Subaru WRX STI). I usually forget I'm hauling my bike. The only problem for my small car is visibility, but all else works great. There was a small crack in one of the plastic pieces but that could have been from shipping. The simple design works very well to hold the bike in place securely.
