"Generally a high quality item, well thought out, and amazing in our economic system that such a thing exists for sale. My daughter's bike which does not have a horizontal bar at the top needs a temporary horizontal bar to put it in on a bike rack on my car. This adapter serves that purpose, amazing! However, for a child's bike (9yr old girl, medium size bike) the distance betweent the handle bars and the seat is too short for this adapter (even though adjustable). Secondly, I would wonder why upward pressure on the bike seat from the adapter does not push the seat post out of the frame while the car is driving down the road."

"Great product. Does not scratch bike. Works great on a vehicle that is tall enough. You cannot use this on a small car because it lowers your bike and it will only be a couple of inches off the ground at best. I use it when my bike club is car pooling in SUV's."

"it does what is says it is supposed to do.. however opening the clamps is not an easy task until you get the hold of it. It does not come with any instructions either. But it does work fine"
