Whether you're on vacation or just out for a weekend ride, you want to spend your time pushing your pedals, not fighting with straps and bungee cords. They slide up and down with ease, locking into place for maximum stability.
Besides being quick like a bunny to mount, your Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack is as versatile as a wad of chewing gum and some eraser shavings in the hands of MacGyver. Plus, you get the Stinger Swinger hitch adaptor, so you can connect the Thule Doubletrack to either a 2" or a 1.25" receiver hitch.
When you're not toting your 2-wheelers, just hit the Hitch Switch quick release lever and your Thule 990 Doubletrack 2 Bike Hitch Mount Rack folds up flush with your ride's rear end giving you room for two bikes at a time. Plus, Thule builds your hitch bike rack in the USA and backs it with a Lifetime Warranty.

I was very happy with the Bike Rack. The quality was outstanding and I would recommend this item to anyone. It protects both the truck and the bicycles from damage or theft.

I've borrowed a swagman rack from a friend before, it pales in comparison to the Thule 990XT. When tightened properly, this rack is much more stable than any other rack I've used before. The locking hitch pin and arms are also a really great addition so you can rest assured that everything is secure while traveling. After a little over a week of driving around with the rack on the back of my car I noticed the hitch pin needed to be tightened up, but other than that I have no complaints

Excellent bike carrier. One minor issue: Instructions and photos show pivoting center bike clamp with locks toward car. I turned this around for better access with key. This also puts taller clamp closer to car (assumed to be heavier bike, which would seem logical). I also plan to add a couple of LED trailer lights to rear bar and center upright, run the wire in the tubes and plug into the trailer light for the hitch package. As with any rear carrier the car lights are somewhat obscured.

My husband finally decided to join me in recreational bike riding, and we needed a two-bike hitch. The positive ratings are true. I also watched the YouTube video and was more convinced. The rack got us to middle TN from West Atlanta and back with no problems. The bikes were always secure during transit and the locking mechanisms allowed for extra security when we stopped to get out of the truck. Super fast shipping from Auto Anything!! Bought one day arrived the next with regular shipping!!

When I rec'd the unit it was easy to assemble. It took about 15 minutes to install. I did put the vertical holder on backwards and had to reverse it as my wifes bike is a step thru. It is quite easy to put in the hitch and the bolt that goes thru the hitch keeps it from wobbling. I like th efact that it comes with locks for the bikes as wellas the hitch. If someone took the time they could unbolt it from the hitch but it is only to keep the honest "crooks" from being tempted!
