Description

Whether you're toting your mountain bikes out to the local trailhead or crisscrossing these United States with your beach cruisers in tow, the Classic Accessories Deluxe Bike Cover safeguards your two-wheelers from the elements. Tire-cracking sunlight—blocked. Gear-gumming road grime—stymied. No matter what Mother Nature throws your way, your bicycles are protected.

Forget about flimsy, floppy fabrics that wouldn't last a weekend outside—your Classic Accessories Deluxe Bike Cover is built from heavy-duty materials. The polyester cloth is both weather safe and UV treated to handle the high-noon sun and other harsh elements. Plus, the integrated air vents keep your Deluxe Bike Cover from floating.

Installing your Classic Accessories Deluxe Bike Cover is a cinch. Thanks to its split-back EasyOn™ design, it slips around your hitch-mounted bikes and zips up in a jiffy. For added security, you can run tie-down straps (not included) through the built-in D-rings. And, Classic Accessories backs your Deluxe Bike Cover with a 2-year warranty.

Not Very Satisfied

The first time we used this cover within three hours of travel the plastic on one side tore. Even with the tear this cover did not allow the wind to move through it which caused accessive amounts of movement with our two road bikes. This movement caused damage to the forks on both bikes plus rubbing of one tire which resulted in the purchase of two new tires. We had to buy additional bungee cords to try to minimize the movement. We finally just removed the cover. I am requesting a refund.

We have not traveled w/the cover yet.But do like the way it fits. The way our bike holder is made, the opening is a little too large. So bought sew-on velcro and had a friend sew it to where the whole opening is closed during traveling. It is just what we wanted, hope it holds up during travel.

Great cover

This cover was very easy to install. The zipper on the cover made it easy to slip over the bike. Grommets at the top and bottom help to secure the cover and keep it from flapping during travel. The only downfall is the kit didn't come with tie down straps which would have been helpful.

The plastic separated from the material with the first 100 miles of our trip this past week. I will be packing it up and sending it back for a refund. Perhaps this unit was defective.

Cover too small

Your advertisements state that the cover will cover up to 3 bikes. What they dont state are the overall dimensions. We ride comfort bikes which mean they have extended (up) handlebars and I assumed that maybe the extra bike room would compensate but not so. We have a bikerack that the wheels sit in for support. With the extended height and the the wheels in lower supports the cover comes nowhere near to covering the bikes. The quality of the cover seems fine but it only covers about two thirds of the bikes. I will keep the cover which does work for one bike. KP

Classic Accessories Deluxe Bike Cover

We own a Jeep with the spare tire mounted on the back door and we carry our bikes on a hitch mounted bike rack by Thor, the type where they bikes are suspended. Would this cover work for us?

If the bikes are held by the tube in the middle, you should be fine. The back of the cover opens up to accommodate different racks.

Question About Cover for Bikes in Hanging Rack

What does hanging rack refer to? Will the Classic Accessories Bike Cover for 3 bikes work on a bike rack that hangs from a hatchback door?

Staff Answer

Thank you for your recent question and for choosing AutoAnything. That cover is designed to cover up to three bikes, hanging or platform mounted. This means either the bike is mounted on the rack by hanging on the crossbar or seat post, or that the tires go into tracks, platforms, to be held in position.
