This is the first hitch rack I have bought and I am pleasantly surprised. The hardest part is lining the holes up with the pin wich is only used for lining up the rack. I wish I would have known this before trying it out the first time.Holds the bike well.

Dealing with AA was great ,items arrived quicker than expected. Bike rack on the other hand not quite as great a review. Rack is very sturdy ,easy to install comes fully assembled all great features. The negative is you need an engineering degree to truly get 4 bikes on there. Ordered bike tube for wife's bike at some time, but getting 4 bikes on is a real challenge. Maybe should have gotten 5 bike rack to fit 4 more easily.

Love it! A little heavy, yet manageable. Sways a little away from the car and towards, with two bikes, but seems to be stable enough. Very easy to install and use.

I really like the weight and feel of the Ridgeback and believe it should last for quite sometime. For those that don't actually like the large red Yakima logo don't worry because it won't stay on for very long. Mine was already coming up in a few spots right out of the box. They should do something about that. I'll enjoy it as a good looking and hearty 4 bike hitch mounted rack for years to come.

Simple design and easy installation with a standard hitch. Bike arrangement can be a bit tricky depending on the frame shape and size. The locking security mechanism gives peace of mind when you leave the rack on. Overall a solid bike rack for our family of four.

Installed quickly and effortlessly. The swing open factor is a must and is so easy to use. Simply open the lever and pull down out of the way. For my particular bikes, I had to buy the cross bar adapters, but no worries. I leave my bike rack on at all times and have no trouble with parking, opening the back, etc. this makes loading and unloading a lot easier than my older roof top mount as well. Thanks again Yakima!

This fits into the Curt 2" hitch receiver I installed. The locking mech, to the hitch, is fast and easy. Rack is secure and does not sway. Bikes stay secure and are motionless when straps are used. Takes mts to set up for bike transport. Lays flat in my Highlander behind 3rd row. This is just what I was looking for. (do not completely flatten bar that goes into receiver when storing rack. This makes set up easier. U can use hitch receiver as a lever). Receiver & rack purchased at AA.

I gave it 4 out of 5 stars due to it's heavynes. Works perfect it's well engineered to last a life time. I like the lock on to hitch feature preventing carrier theft. Overall ....I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The rack comes completely assembled and is easy to install. It's heavy, but that's why it's so sturdy. I love the locking mechanism - it makes it solid in the trailer hitch and prevents thieves from walking off with the rack.
