I chatted with 2 people on the chat feature on the site before ordering. Both assured me that the rack would extend out past my stock OEM rear-mounted spare tire on my Jeep Liberty. I was skeptical, but after speaking to the second customer service agent,I placed the order. Upon receipt of the rack, it was about 4 inches too short. I called Autoanything and was assured that this rack SHOULD fit. I was offered for the rack to be returned, but I bought an extender rather than returning it.

the bike rack is very sturdy and easy to use. I was very dissapointed that the rack did not come with a pin to hold it into the hitch. so we will have to go buy one seperate. Havent been able to use it yet because there was no pin included. I must of missed the NO PIN INCLUDED message when I bought this item.

I didn't need a bike rack that will be using more than four times a year. This bike rack is excellent for the price. I have used four other racks and this one is the lightest, nearly easiest to use, of all of them. I feel the bikes are far more secure than with the rubber/plastic straps most use. Ihad the straps break several times and cannot be easily replaced, especally when in the mountains on vacation.

Overall this unit is easy to use and of generally good quality. No problems with fit or installation. Two problems that do exist: 1) the unit came with only one key (The AutoAnything Team has two more keys on the way to me)and 2)the adhesively bonded pad between the upright and mounting bracket lasted thru only one use before it had slid out of position and made it difficult to insert the locking pin. Rack is very well made, easy to install. Bikes attach in minutes and lock is very simple to operate. I am very please with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

Rack is sturdy, easy to install and has a unique lock that works. The pair of screws securing the bike to the rack take about a minute to turn down.

I an always a bit leary of purchasing items from companies that I have not dealt with previously, but I can assure that this company is legite. The bike rack was really awesome and much better thatn what you can get at Wal-Mart. My only problem is that the rack has a little bit of play in it inside the hitch reciever. My Dad said that the others he has seen do the same thing, so it must not be a big deal. The construction seems to be very good, and I believe that I will get many years of service from it.
