This was an excellent purchase, an excellent product. Easy to assemble, durable, and very secure on the towing receiver. Used it this past week on a camping trip with my grandson. No issues noted during the trip. The product performed well.

I purchased this as a replacement for my Thule rack. The Thule I had would not work with my full-suspension mountain bike, so I got this style of carrier. The Swagman is well built, solid, and keeps my bike sturdy, especially when on rough roads. The width of the tire rests fit my fairly wide tires, though I'm not sure you'd get a "fat" bike on this. I also ended up purchasing the matching locking hitch pin to secure the rack against theft and love it as well.

I've been looking for a rack for a while and don't like to buy things online because you never know the quality. This is an easy to install and solid piece. It's a little loose in 2in hitch but not terrible.

Bikes seem very secure with this carrier. A quick trip around the block was quiet with the no rattle bolt included snugging the rack against the side of the trailer hitch mounting hole. It was unclear that the bolt was included so I ordered the key locking bolt when I ordered the rack. The online picture looks like it includes a cable also for locking the bikes. It doesn't.

I hadn't seen a Swagman rack in person before I opened the box. This is not a cheapo rack. It is built well. Extremely easy to assemble, fold up and down, adjust as needed for each bike, and was easy to put on my truck. Easy to operate and holds my bike much better than expected. I am very pleased with the Swagman XTC Cross Country Bike Rack. I consider it a great value and great quality. Moab, here I come!!!

I have used the bike rack a few times now. I like the fact that I don't have to lift the bike too high and it securely holds my dual suspension bike without any special hardware. I added a locking trail pin and put a regular lock on the adjustable bars that hold the bikes. I would recommend it to others.

Bike rack is simple to assemble and Install, but your information about the installation does not say it bolts to the receiver with a metric thread bolt .That only matters if you also get the cable lock that comes with a 1/2-13 american standard bolt. I'm using on the back of a 5th whl RV.
