Unit is well made but lacks installation instructions - pictures only. Brackets that hold rubber straps must be tightened with a screwdriver. This is a difficult process - whole for screwdriver is hidden and you must hold it parallel with the screw which is difficult to do. Hard to get men and ladies bikes on this unit - it is a 4-bike carrier but they must be the right configuration to mount 4 bikes. Overall - unit was just O.K.

I wanted a solid easy to use carrier and this was it. Heavy duty, very easy to use, easy to fold down to get in the hatch and to fold the bike hangers when not in use.

I am very pleased with the Rhino rack. It took about an hour for assembly. Well constructed with no additional tools needed. It fit firmly into my mount. I was concerned that the attachments to the cross-bar of my bike may not firmly hold the bike for travel. I was pleasantly surprised. This well-made rack is much less expensive than the racks for more national brands sold at places like REI. I have tried to attach 4 bikes and that could be a challenge. This rack is well worth it.

Great product. I compared similar models from other manufactures and opted for the Rino. While I did not purchase the other products so I cannot make a side-by-side comparison, I have nothing but great things to so for the quality of the workmanship and the design of the Rino. It is beefy enough to never wear out and the welds in the metal are clean and consistent. The paint is dutiable and still remains us scratched even after off road use. The bikes remain unscratched as well! Awesome product!

What a great investment this was!!! Even though we have a truck having the box filled with bikes was not convenient with 3 dogs and 2 kids! All our mountain bikes have different frame designs. Some are curved for girls some are typical triangle and my son's is just completely different. Was able to get all the bikes on and secured EASILY! We always are a little stressed before camping trips and the last thing I need is another headache to put Dad over the top! Assemble also easy all parts provid

Received the Rhino rack in black as shown in the photo, assembled and mount on my Lexus RX350's 2x2 hitch without problem. I had no issues placing my mountain bike in it which has a "Medium" size frame but will probably have to buy a bike rack adapter for my wife's mountain bike with a "XS" frame. The vertical section of the rack has a padded tube cover which protects your bikes for hitting this section. I wished it was padded on both sides in case I mistakenly open the liftgate from inside.

The Rhino-Rack is the first bike rack we've owned. After reading reviews of many racks, the Rhino-Rack seems to provide a lot of qualities I was looking for at a reasonable price. After a few small local trips, we just completed a 400+ mile highway trip, with 2 adult bikes on the rack. The rack met all of reviews descriptions as a solid carrier. With a 2" mount, the bikes never moved, whether on the highway or some rough roads.

The rack is sturdy and well built. The holders seem to slide on the bar even after they have been tightened. I think I can remedy the problem but I haven't had time to work on it yet.

We have used this rack 3 times already since we got it including on a 5 1/2 hour trip. Worked like a charm! Very sturdy, constructed well, tilts back so you can get in your hatch. Locking hitch pin included was a bonus. Saw it for a cheaper price on amazon, but wanted to pay with paypal. Auto anything matched the price with no hassle at all, they actually went a dollar under what amazon was asking. I would purchase this item again!
