Direction sequence could be better arranged. Material quality very good, sturdy. Only complaint does not hold my wife's bike. Women's bikes do not have the higher cross bar which this bike rack is designed for. Thinking about returning this item.

We have two bikes and our new Thule 963Pro Spare Me Tire Bike Rack is perfect. Easy to install. We worked together and had it ready to use in less than five minutes. The adapter was necessary for the ladies bike. We keep our straps in the car when we aren't transporting our bikes.

So far I have not used this bike rack because my husband just installed it. We had to send back the original one ordered because the locking mechanism did not work correctly. Although the exchange process was painless I cannot say the same for the 2nd installation. The temporary plug placed in the locking hole was screwed in so tightly that my husband sliced open his hand when removing it. I am hoping that our experience using this rack will be much better than the installation.

We started in the evening and got frustrated, and finished in the morning. We were both sweating bullets in the Florida heat which made it worse. We rotated the long shaft and the short shaft back and forth and still couldn't get the parts that buffer the rack against the tire installed right. They are on the rack, but serve no useful purpose. It seemed like a simple process, but it wasn't. The rack works fine, but the directions to install could be a little more explicit.

My husband put this on my vehicle and he said it was easy to install. Ilove it for the convenience of putting my bike on the back of my vehicle. Love that it has a lock so you don't have to worry about someone stealing your bike. It is easy to put on and off, much easier than other bike racks I've had.

I was pleased with how quick I received my order. It was pretty easy to install the bike rack. We've used it the past week and so far we've had no problems.

I put this rack on my 2005 CR-V. It was easy to mount and is solid to the spare tire. Two things I wish were different: 1. The bike holders are quite high. I'm not sure my wife will be able to load a bike on the rack by herself. It could easily be lower and not have any worries about ground clearance. 2. I wish the bikes were more centered on the vehicle. I used the offset available on the rack, but the right side of the bikes hang out beyond the right side of the car.
