Softride Access Dura 4-Bike Rack Reviews

Nice Bike Rack

Reviewed By Erik V (west windsor, NJ) Reviewed for a 2014 Acura MDX —8/27/2015 6:03 AM

I was growing tired of borrowing my neighbor's rickety "clamp on" rack our MDX every time we used our bikes, so after having a hitch kit installed at the Acura dealer, we purchased this rack to carry our three mountain bikes. Installation was pretty straightforward HINT: be sure the release clips for the extension arms are closest to the vehicle when putting on the top plate - it's easy to reverse. It holds the bikes securely, and is easily attached and removed. Finish seems like it will last.

Fantastic Rack, Need right tools for Installation

Reviewed By Sam V (Folsom, CA) Reviewed for a 2004 Acura MDX —10/6/2012 1:04 PM

When you order make sure to look for Hydraulic-Assist Access Dura Rack. The one without hydraulic-assist is cheaper by about $40. Softride shipped me the one w/o hydraulic-assist but AA helped get the right product quickly. For installation you will need a deep-socket (13mm or 0.5") and a ratchet with an extension. It is a great rack overall - solid build quality, ease of use, offers easy access to back of SUVs, great price. AA provided great customer service.

Softride Shuttle Pad Truck Tailgate Pad Reviews

Chevy Colorado 2016

Reviewed By Robert K (Huntley, IL) Reviewed for a 2016 Chevy Colorado —1/31/2016 6:32 AM

I bought this Shuttle pad for my 2016 Colorado. I was hoping to not have to purchase anther bike rack. It sat in my garage for about a week before I unpacked it. Being January in Illinois, it was quite stiff. I brought it inside and let it flatten out. The instructions are vague. But it is quite simple. However I think it might be better to have the attachment straps reversed so the drop down the backside of the tailgate instead of trying to seed them upwards.
