I just purchased a new car and was very concerned that a trunk mounted bike rack could scratch the paint. I did a little research and selected the Yakima King Joe. When it arrived I was a little dismayed at assembly required. To my suprise, the unit assembled very simply and mounting it is quick. Its design make it almost impossible to scratch the paint. Overall I am very impressed with this unit and would recommend it to any one interested in a trunk mounted bike rack. AutoAnything's web site was very easy to navigate through, their pricing was quite competitive and their e-mail updates lets you know the exact shipping status of your order. I would definately consider purchasing products from this company.

Yakima Ridgeback Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Solid bike rack

Simple design and easy installation with a standard hitch. Bike arrangement can be a bit tricky depending on the frame shape and size. The locking security mechanism gives peace of mind when you leave the rack on. Overall a solid bike rack for our family of four.

pretty good

on the sienna the locking handle scratches the bumper. it keeps the bikes too high, blocks window, but it seems a lot of bike racks do that and I am not sure why. its would be easy to steal the bikes and half the rack with the removal of one bolt. so you need to use a cable lock that attaches to the hitdh.
