Swagman Quad Platform Bike Rack Reviews

Well-designed, works great

Reviewed By William S (LOS ALTOS, CA) Reviewed for a 2015 Audi Q5 —4/1/2015 10:55 AM

I recently purchased a new SUV and wanted to move from a roof rack to a hitch-mounted rack to save the effort of lifting bikes on top of the car and the risk of driving into the garage with the bikes still mounted. I researched both the type where the bikes hang and where they rest in tracks, and decided this type is more versatile in supporting a range of adult and children's bikes. This carrier works as well as the pricier brands, is very well-made, and made in the USA as a bonus.

Saris Freedom Hitch Mount Bike Rack Reviews

Best rack, very durable

Reviewed By Matthew B (Buffalo, NY) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford Explorer —9/17/2015 5:16 AM

We love this rack. Having kids and women's bikes to haul around can be a pain work hanging racks, but this one is a breeze. Once adjusted for your bikes, they just drop in place and strap down. The rack is a bit heavy when fully loaded, but one strong person can tilt it down to access the trunk of your suv, I just wouldn't ask my wife to do it alone. I wrist they had integrated the newer tech thule and others are using to prevent it from wobbling, but the old fashioned anti wobble bolt does ok.

Swagman Jackknife Vertical Bike Rack Reviews

Great Bike Rack

Reviewed By Duane W (MARYSVILLE, WA) Reviewed for a 2009 Toyota Tacoma —9/7/2015 10:30 PM

Swagman Jackknife holds my bikes perfectly and secure. The rack does sway for side to side a few inches, but I was expecting that it would. I am totally happy with this bike rack, its worth every penny that I pay for it.
