I like the ROLA TX a lot. I have two minor gripes. I couldn't fit my wife's bike on the rack because of the bikes configuration but we really weren't planning on taking it anyway and there is no means of keeping the front tire from turning back and forth. I used a bungy cord from the wheel to the frame to solve the problem. My bike mounted great and rides rock solid.

Heading from Wisconsin to S. Dakota and needed a solid rack. The instructions for assembly and mounting are a bit lacking. Be sure to pull the locking cable from the frame post prior to installing the top plate. Also, the top plate locking pins must face toward the vehicle. The locking hitch pin can be difficult to line up with the bolt...I find myself on the ground each time I mount the rack. Love that it folds out to allow access to the trunk.
